Routine maintenance, repair, and refurbishing of 35mm, manual-focus, SLR camera bodies. We repair cameras from all major manufacturers, and we specialize in the Canon A series and Pentax K series.
Pricing
Small repairs (e.g. replacing light seals, repairing broken exterior parts): up to $60
full CLA: $75 (includes new light seals and return shipping within the U.S.)
Major repairs (e.g. internal mechanical/electrical faults): from $60 to $120
FAQs
Q: How long do repairs take?
A: Please allow for a 1-2 week turnaround time. Many repairs can be completed in less time than this, but if replacement parts need to be obtained, up to 2 weeks may be needed.
Q: How do I send you my camera?
A: Please contact us to start the process, and we’ll talk details and get an initial estimate going. We’ll have you ship the camera to our PO box (be sure to pack it carefully), where we’ll pick it up as soon as it arrives.
Q: Do you guarantee your work?
A: Yes, all repairs have a 6-month warranty included. If the same problem comes back within that time, the new repair is on the house.
Q: What if my camera cannot be repaired?
A: If we inspect your camera and we find that it has an issue that is beyond repair, we’ll send it back to you at no charge.
